Dear
Congressman,
Re: Tax bill
I note that your tax bill has been deferred
once again until Thursday. Is it too much to hope that, when it finally comes
up for a vote, you’ll cast yours AGAINST massive tax cuts for the very rich and
cuts in vital services for those Americans who genuinely need them? The all too
familiar mantra—that tax cuts for the rich will promote growth and “trickle
down” to the rest of us—is so tired and readily discredited at this point
(think Kansas), as to be a poor excuse for a reasoned argument.
In the interest of the majority of your constituents, vote NO on the tax bill, as it stands today.
Respectfully,
Peter Clothier, Ph.D.
